The following news release came from Rachel Kingham, Community Manager at Reno Collective.

“We are excited to announce that we have launched our online membership platform. This dedicated membership platform and brand new website kicks off a completely new direction in the coworking world, aimed at people working from home. Take our virtual tour and let us know what you think!” – Rackel Kingham, Community Manager at Reno Collective

(Reno, NV) The Reno Collective, Reno’s first coworking space, is excited to announce the launch of their brand new online community designed to assist and support workers in any field who are currently working from home. The closure of many storefronts and office spaces has forced people to adapt not only to a new working environment but, in some cases, adjust their business model, and that is causing some challenges.

“The pandemic has changed the way people work, and whether by choice or not many people are working from home,” said Colin Loretz, co-founder, and co-owner of the Reno Collective.  “We know that working independently allows for a high amount of freedom, along with a huge amount of responsibility. It’s a skill that many traditional office workers have had to develop on the fly, and that’s where we can help.”

Like many other businesses, the Reno Collective temporarily closed its doors in March 2020, reopening in June to existing members only and with extremely limited capacity. However, with more than 10 years of experience as a coworking space, the team at the Reno Collective knows that coworking is more than just four walls.

Since opening in the wake of the Great Recession in 2010, the Reno Collective has been a hub for independent workers seeking other like-minded individuals to work alongside, both online and in-person. The new online community provides such a platform, allowing members to build and maintain connections, engage in conversations, share wins and show-off a new project, and ask for and offer feedback.

“When we reached out to our existing members their two biggest challenges were staying focused and feeling siloed. That was the problem they needed help solving,” said Rachel Kingham, Community Manager at the Reno Collective. “Covid has changed a lot of things for us but one thing it will never change is our ability to foster meaningful connections between our members while providing them with the tools and resources necessary to grow their businesses.”

Memberships to the Reno Collective online community start at $29 per month and are available online at renocollective.com. A WFH membership is $29/month and includes virtual coworking sessions; WFH Plus membership is $49/month and includes access to an exclusive jobs board, and a curated digital library and book club; Mastermind membership is $99/month and includes access to Reno Collective’s popular accountability program. Launching Spring 2020, the Mentorship membership is priced at $199/month and includes private business reviews, expert office hours, and mentorship opportunities. Potential members can signup for membership instantly or schedule a one-on-one virtual tour of the community with a Reno Collective team member.
