Attend the inaugural Reno Food Faire happening August 19th at the McKinley Arts Center & Riverside Drive and celebrate the charm of locally grown food. The event is free, and patrons can register to take part in several good old fashion contests…. Yes, the kind you might see on Charlette’s Web.
The festival is a celebration of good, clean, locally sourced food and pays homage to Reno’s rich community of master gardeners, sustainable farmers, ranchers, and local food enthusiasts who recognize that the freshest harvests make the tastiest meals.
About the Event
The family-friendly event is for Farmers, Ranchers, Bakers, Foodie’s and Crafters to come together to celebrate all things delicious and beautiful. Sign up for epicurean workshops to learn the art of garlicky concoctions or learn how to make sweet preserves. Feeling lucky? Take part in one of the several contests. No matter your flavor, festival-goers of all ages will enjoy the shady location along the Truckee River while enjoying fine food, drinks, and music.
